On january 18th 2001 I was lucky enough to have my recorder hooked to my computer, and I captured this show on a couple of cassettes, which I’ve finally had the time to digitize and edit down to a reasonable size.
On this particular evening Joe and Toby made their way to Musicians.net studios for a visit with Mark and Tony for their weekly internet radio show “Naked Thursday”.Everyone had a great time and during the show Joe and Toby performed impromto acoustic renditions of two of their songs.I hope you enjoy this 37 minutes of Jibe history. Thanks to Kayne and Peri,Mark and Tony and Musicians.net

Dead Girls Don’t Lie is an American electronic-rock band, formed and fronted by Joe Grah, formerly of Dallas Alt-rock juggernaut Jibe, Island def-jam recording artist Loser (also featuring guitarist John 5 of multi-platinum groups Rob Zombie & Marilyn Manson), and Chicago’s South Of Earth (also featuring guitarist Geno Lenardo of the multi-platinum group Filter).
Joe’s songs have played in regular rotation on radio stations across the United States and featured worldwide in film, television & radio. His powerful voice, gripping lyrics, and adrenaline-fueled performances motion the crowd to become lost in the thrill of the moment.
Initially an uncompromised solo project, Grah installed a pro-tools rig directly into his bedroom and set himself on a path of unhinged self exploration.
“I locked myself down for long periods of time to face past experiences, current dilemmas, and unresolved issues as I recorded the process. Joe Grah
A combination of live instrumentation and electronic elements allow an ambient beat to drive this intimate conversation between two people living life on the edge. Grah sings every word like it is his last pouring out ‘heart and soul’ in this genre defying club classic.
Joined by guitarist/multi-instrumentalist, REM, drummer Chris Russell, and bassist Jesus Rauda, the band released their debut single, “Seven Minutes,” on Tuesday, December 17, 2013.
